Roof Sheets Online Ltd want you to be happy with your purchase and overall shopping experience with us.
As part of this, and our duty of care in respect of the privacy of your personal information, we need you to understand both your and our positions, and these Terms & Conditions (Terms) explains in general terms, your rights and information regarding our usage of your personal information.
Roof Sheets Online Ltd is a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered number: 15150940 whose registered office is at 99 Wychall Drive, Wolverhampton, WV10 8UX
2.1 Any diagrams, wire drawings or illustrations supplied by Roof Sheets Online Ltd, should only be used as a guide.
2.2 All diagrams, wire drawings and illustrations have been designed for, and belong to Roof Sheets Online Ltd.
2.3 You cannot copy, use or otherwise mimic our copyright content including product images, site images and other graphics used on our website.
3.1 Quotations are valid for 30 days subject to stock and availability.
3.2 Internet orders are subject to acceptance and availability confirmed by Roof Sheets Online Ltd.
3.3 All Quotes/Prices EXCLUDE V.A.T unless otherwise stated or requested by the customer.
3.4 Roof Sheets Online Ltd reserve the right to modify quotations accordingly to suit goods required.
3.5 Prices and quotations are given at Roof Sheets Online Ltd’s discretion.
3.6 Price lists may vary and change due to the fluctuating nature of the steel manufacturing industry.
3.7 Roof Sheets Online Ltd are not obliged to give customer loyalty or quantity discounts or similar.
4.1 Full payment of goods must be made at the stage of ordering unless otherwise agreed with a member or the sales team.
4.2 In the event of a delinquent payment, we reserve the right to charge interest at the rate equivalent to that set in Section 6 of The Late Payment or Commercial Debts Intertest Act 1998.
4.3 Under no circumstance are goods are to be taken without Payment or Payment method confirmed.
4.4 Roof Sheets Online Ltd do not offer any form of Payment plans, part payments or finance for goods unless you are a Roof Sheets Online Ltd Account Holder.
4.5 Roof Sheets Online Ltd do not / will not sell / distribute any of the customers personal or payment information onto any third party. We are licenced under the I.C.O. Data Protection service licence number ZA271090.
4.6 Title to the goods shall remain vested in the Seller (we / us / Roof Sheets Online Ltd) and shall not pass to the Buyer (you) until the purchase price for the Goods has been paid in full and received by us.
Until title to the Goods passes:
4.6.1 We shall have authority to retake, sell or otherwise deal with and/or dispose of all or any part of the Goods;
and
4.6.2 We and our agents and employees shall be entitled at any time and without the need to give notice enter upon any property upon which the Goods or any part are stored, or upon which we reasonably believes them to be kept and the Buyer shall store or mark the Goods in a manner reasonably satisfactory to us, indicating that title to the Goods remains vested in us; and you shall insure the Goods to their full replacement value, and arrange for us to be noted on the policy of insurance as the loss payee.
4.7 Irrespective of whether title to the Goods remains vested in us, risk in the Goods shall pass to you upon delivery.
5.1 All cancellations and alterations must be made prior to the manufacturing of the goods. Once the goods are in the process of being made, we are unable to amend or cancel them.
5.2 In the case where a customer wants to cancel/amend an order and the goods have already been made, the customer will be liable to pay for the goods.
5.3 Should a customer require to add to their order, we cannot guarantee that the additional goods will be ready to collect/deliver at the same time as the original order.
5.4 We reserve the right to cancel an order if we have insufficient stock, we do not deliver to your area and one or more of the goods are listed at the wrong price.
6.1 We apply cover sheets onto packs where possible but we cannot guarantee that (especially polyester coated) products will be 100% scratch free on delivery.
6.2 Delivery charges depend on your location and not by quantity ordered, for more information please view our delivery info page.
6.3 We aim to deliver your order as soon as possible which will be in around 14 working days for England & Wales; up to 21 working days for Scotland Mainland and up to 28 working days for Scottish Highlands / Islands. This time frame is an estimate and can vary in busy periods. Roof Sheets Online Ltd hold no responsibility for any delivery delays. If customers are waiting for more than 30 days after order is placed and still have no confirmed delivery day then Roof Sheets Online will issue a full refund to the customer.
6.4 Customers will be notified the day before delivery to confirm a morning or afternoon delivery slot.
6.5 We do our best to work with our customers’ requirements and preference but we cannot guarantee delivery on specific dates requested by the customer.
6.6 On very large or long distance orders, we may require external haulage which will be covered at the customer’s expense.
6.7 It is imperative, and the customer’s responsibility to provide us with correct details and with access information where necessary (e.g. weight/length/height restrictions to roads and bridges). If we are unable to deliver goods due in inadequate information and a second attempt is required, this will covered at the customer’s expense.
6.8 It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for safe unloading of the goods. The customer or someone on behalf of the customer must be present to unload, check goods and sign paperwork.
6.9 On delivery, the customer or relevant person must check the goods carefully and sign the delivery note once satisfied. Once the goods have been signed for, Roof Sheets Online Ltd are not obliged to exchange, refund or replace products.
6.10 If any damage is apparent on delivery, please notify the driver or contact Roof Sheets Online Ltd office immediately.
6.11 Responsibility of damage or loss of goods is the customer’s responsibility once the products have been signed for.
6.12 Where a customer/relevant person is not available to accept or sign the goods, the driver will leave the goods in a safe place. By a person not being present to sign/accept goods – it is assumed that you accept for the goods to be left in a safe pace. The driver will take a photo of the goods, left in a safe place for our records, to show completion of the delivery and confirm the condition of the goods (any loss or damage to goods, past this stage will be the customer’s responsibility).
6.13 Delivery drivers will only deliver goods to confirmed and safe addresses and locations.
6.14 Where applicable we may charge a handling fee for all online orders. At the current date, this is charged at £12.50 (ex VAT) on all orders below £500 (ex VAT). Orders over £500 (ex VAT) will not be charged a handling fee.
6.15 We do not deliver to any of the U.K Islands, such as Isle of Wight, Hebrides etc. If you live on one of the islands, which we classify as anywhere across a body of water that separates the mainland, then please do not order online but call us instead so we can go over your options.
7.1 We expect our products to meet the high standards of our customers every time but in the event where a customer is un-satisfied with their product the office staff of Roof Sheets Online Ltd must be made aware of this as soon as possible and correct product/purchase/invoice information and explanation must be given.
7.2 Once goods have been signed for, Roof Sheets Online Ltd are not obliged to exchange, refund or replace products.
7.3 Roof Sheets Online Ltd cannot refund a customer or replace a product if the incorrect item has been ordered by the customer.
7.4 All exchanges, re-funds and returns are to be discussed and authorised by, and only by the company director.
8.1 We do our best to make all “collection orders” within 2, full working days.
8.2 Any amendments to a sales order may lengthen the time taken to manufacture the goods.
8.3 Roof Sheets Online Ltd will contact the customer once the goods have been manufactured. The standard practice of notification is via phone-call; upon no answer on the first attempt, we will make efforts to contact again up to a maximum of 2 more attempts. We recommend after 10 days you as the customer checks in with us to confirm that goods are ready to collect.
8.4 All customers collecting from the site understand that The Yard is a working and dangerous environment.
8.5 On a customer’s arrival to the yard, they will be seen to as soon as possible but it may be required for the customer to wait until a member of staff is free.
8.6 It is the customer’s responsibility to supply their own straps and strap up their own loads, although we will guide / help where appropriate.
8.7 Where applicable we may charge a handling fee for all smaller orders collected. At the current date, this is charged at £12.50 (ex VAT) on all orders below £500 (ex VAT). Orders over £500 (ex VAT) will not be charged a handling fee.
9.1 All goods and materials supplied by Roof Sheets Online Ltd are stored on site, under the supplier’s instructions.
9.2 We will advise customers to the best of our ability on guidance of the storage of their goods but Roof Sheets Online Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage on the goods stored by the customer.
10.1 Roof Sheets Online Ltd will not be responsible for damage, injury or death caused by incorrect/poor transportation, handling, installation or similar with the goods supplied.
10.2 Roof Sheets Online Ltd will not be responsible for any consequential loss, loss of financial profits and damage to equipment, site or property.
12.1 All rights (including copyright) on our website (including product images and graphics) and brochures are owned by/or licensed to Roof Sheets Online Ltd. Any use of our content (including copying or storing it) other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without permission via a written notice.
12.2 Roof Sheets Online Ltd are in full compliance with EU Legislation Laws. All Goods and Components produced by Roof Sheets Online Ltd are CE marked. From July 1st 2013, all profiled steel sheeting supplied in the UK has to be CE Marked. In Compliance with Regulation 305/2011/EU of the European Parliament ad of the Council of 9 March 2011 (The Construction Products Regulation or CPR), this certificate applies to the construction product; Structural Steel Components.
12.3 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
